- This menu is an imagemap menu enhanced with drop-down menus.
- There are 9 hotspots across the map, some of which are quite small; the
following countries have hotspots: USA, Mexico, UK, France, Italy, Greece, Egypt, India, Japan.
- This demo primarily shows the use of dynamic image switching. There are
various hidden hotspots across the map in which famous tourist sights appear when the
mouse points to the appropriate country.
- This also shows the use of background images in the submenus.
- The tourist sight images are automatically preloaded by the applet.
- Submenu titles have been switched on as the map itself contains no text.
- Many submenus have further submenus nested inside.
- The text has been adjusted to be slightly smaller than normal and spaced
closer together. A high-contrast fairly colourless border colour has been chosen.
- The hyperlinks have been deactivated here, so if you click on anything, you will
not be taken to any other pages.
- The pop-up menus on this applet cannot pop-up over frame borders or pop up outside the applet.
