iPOP Pro-X Powerbar I
"Slate pipe" demonstration (drop-down menu)

    .
  • This is a drop-down menu with multi-level submenus.
  • Move the mouse over the menu to activate submenus and effects.
  • This demonstrates this applet's capacity for separate topmenu and submenu configuration:
    1. Separate background images defined
    2. Different text alignment
    3. Different text styling (large bold v. small normal)
    4. Different text colouring (highlight state is orange on topmenu but purple on submenu)
    5. Icon defined for submenus but not topmenus
    6. Text shadow on top menu switches from black to white on mouse-over, creaing an illusory jump-out effect; the submenu shadow remains white to retain the emboss effect
  • Because background images are tiled, they will fill submenus of any shape or size with only a minimum of download requirement; the two background images used in this demonstration are both under 1 KB in size
  • The buttonize effect on the submenus is created by the background image; the entry spacing has been configured to match this background
  • The buttonize effect on the top level entries has been removed to make the topbar look more like a continuous pipe
  • For instructions and technical notes, please refer to the extensive online information.
  • Before you buy, download the trial version.
  • To find out more, continue to the next drop-down menu applet demo...
