Drop-down menu: X-Bar Menubar
System Requirements

  1. Generally speaking: fully cross-platform, cross-browser applet
  2. Requires JDK 1.1 or higher (browsers from version 4 upwards)
  3. Exception: Netscape 4.x for Mac does not support the necessary technology to run any applet which uses AWT submenus. This applies to ALL java menus om the market which use AWT technology (which is the vast majority).
  4. Node hyperlinks: many people like to attach LINK commands to nodes as well as leaves in our menus. Unfortunately this does not work with AWT popup menus.
  5. Activation logic: this applet can only activate its submenus on mouse-click. The AWT popup menus block events over the webpage and applet until they are deactivated by either selecting an item from the menu or clicking the mouse outside the menu system. They will not disappear just by moving the mouse off the submenus.

  CURRENT MENU

The name of this java menu is X-Bar Menubar. It is a drop-down menu with many submenu levels for large indices.
