Tree menu: iTree Pro-X Powertree
Icons

iTree Pro-X Powertree supplies default internal icons as necessary. These are usually matched into the colour scheme you have chosen for the applet, and you can configure individual colours used for these icons. Refer to the parameter list for instructions on configuring the default internal icons.

You can also specify your own GIF and JPG files as icons. There are two steps here.
  1. Register the icon with the applet via a parameter in the HTML file.

    <PARAM NAME=icon8 VALUE="myIcon.gif">

    This tells the applet to read icon number 8 from the file myIcon.gif.

  2. Assign the icon to an entry in the index file.

    "TEXT:my text; ICON:8" "1" "0" "LINK:myPage.htm,myFrame" "[comment]"

    This tells the applet to use icon number 8 for this particular entry. In fact a number of icons do not need assigning explicitly - see the parameter listing. Some standard positions are assigned by default.

    Folders or nodes requires two icons - 1 for the open state, 1 for the closed state. If you register two icons (e.g. 8 and 9), and assign icon 8 to a node/folder, the applet will automatically take icon 9 (1 number higher) for the second node/folder state.
