Magic Animated Buttons - Wipe Version
Special instructions

Additional instructions for the wipe version

The wipe version of the Magic Buttons has more transition types than any other version - 18 in all. In addition it has user-configurable edge-smoothing and user-configurable colouring for the default button images.

<param name=transition-type value=2>
<param name=transition-blur value=11>
<param name=tweak value="100110101">

TRANSITION-TYPE: this parameter can take the values 0 to 17, with the following effects:
  1. Circular wipe (grow, single-border)
  2. Elliptical wipe (grow, single-border)
  3. Horizontal wipe (grow, single-border)
  4. Vertical wipe (grow, single-border)
  5. Rectangular wipe (grow, single-border)
  6. Rhombic wipe (grow, single-border)
  7. Circular wipe (grow, triple-border)
  8. Elliptical wipe (grow, triple-border)
  9. Horizontal wipe (grow, triple-border)
  10. Vertical wipe (grow, triple-border)
  11. Rectangular wipe (grow, triple-border)
  12. Rhombic wipe (grow, triple-border)
  13. Circular wipe (shrink, single-border)
  14. Elliptical wipe (shrink, single-border)
  15. Horizontal wipe (shrink, single-border)
  16. Vertical wipe (shrink, single-border)
  17. Rectangular wipe (shrink, single-border)
  18. Rhombic wipe (shrink, single-border)
TRANSITION-BLUR: the edge smoothing (or blur) can take values from 1 (sharp) to 50 (very fuzzy); the default is 5, which is reasonable.

TWEAK: the tweak parameter is for adjusting the colour scheme of the default images. It consists of 9 binary digits - i.e. nine 0's and 1's. This parameter is here just as a bit if fun for programming people - it is not intended to be user-friendly. The nine digits adjust the RGB values in three groups of three ("RGBRGBRGB"). The first RGB segment defines the border colour. The second segment defines the highlighted central bead colour. The third segment defines the pressed central bead colour. 000 is black, 111 is white, 100 is red, 110 is yellow, etc., so 8 colours are available for each of the three definable areas. Experimenting won't hurt.
