Additional instructions for the pagefold version
The pagefold version of the Magic Buttons looks best with larger
buttons where the animated effect can be seen in more detail. It
also looks better with more frames in the transition, and you may
also find yourself tempted to apply this applet to single, large
buttons. All this means that you may end up needing to read the
memory usage FAQ. This version doesn't use any more memory than the
other versions - it's just that you may be tempted for design
reasons to use this one with less respect for memory. Remember that
this applet is intended for button effects, not whole page effects.
There is one parameter for choosing which type of pagefold you use.
<param name=fold-type value=0>
It takes the values 0 to 9 with the following effects:
- Overlay to top-left
- Overlay to bottom-right
- Overlay to bottom-left
- Overlay to top-right
- Quadruple overlay to centre
- Reveal from top-left
- Reveal from bottom-right
- Reveal from bottom-left
- Reveal from top-right
- Quadruple reveal from centre (default)
